Sweet is a collaborative piece by Liliana Robins and Micky Bimble
'Sweet' draws on the artist's upbringing in the circus and investigates the relationship between contemporary circus imagery and visual art through performative drawing. The choreography is inspired by aspects of the sugar trade and its relationship to the slave trade. Sweet presents the process of construction and deconstruction of a time based work. An undercurrent is formed by the performers father-daughter collaborative relationship.
